Custom 3D configurator: are your customers abandoning before they order?

Between planners so heavy they choke on mobile and tools where buyers get lost in 50 options, selling made-to-order has become an obstacle course. 3DVue removes the friction: a guided 3D journey in 3 clicks, an instant render, and zero doubt all the way to checkout.

3D configurator for decking and pergola: smooth guided experience with no loading time

What this changes for you

Three frictions removed, for your customers and your team alike

Zero redesign for your design office

Every order arrives with a plan and references already defined. No one on your team starts from a blank page.

Zero site visit for a first quote

The customer configures and visualises the product from home. The on-site appointment starts from an already-qualified project, not from scratch.

Zero configuration errors

What the customer validates in 3D is exactly what goes into production : no incompatible combination is ever offered.

The difference

A 3D planner is built for drawing. This is built for selling.

Classic 3D planner
  • Blank page, no guidance : the customer has to know what they want to do
  • Every combination is possible, including incompatible ones
  • Designed to draw a plan, not to trigger an order
  • Heavy interface, often degraded on mobile
  • Requires training or hand-holding
3DVue guided configurator
  • Guided flow in 3 to 4 steps, no skills required
  • Only compatible parts and dimensions are offered
  • Designed to turn a configuration into an order
  • Ultra-lightweight, mobile-first, full screen available
  • Full autonomy from the very first use
What the configurator does for you

Everything you need, in a single tool

Smart compatibility

A leg only offers compatible tabletops, a pergola module only valid heights. Impossible configurations simply don't exist in the interface.

Real-time 3D rendering

Every choice (dimension, module, finish) is shown immediately on the assembled product, from every angle, including full screen.

Automatic order file

Upon validation, references, dimensions and options go straight to your team : no more plans to redo by hand.

Zero technical skills required

Neither your customer nor your sales team needs to know how to use CAD software to use it.

Try it now

Configure the structure,
module by module.

The same principle applies to a veranda, a carport or a garden shed : the parts catalogue changes, the mechanics stay the same.

Who it's for

The same mechanics, whatever your sector

The parts catalogue changes, the compatibility logic stays the same.

Furniture

Matching a leg with a tabletop

Not every tabletop is compatible with every leg : fixing diameter, height, style. The configurator only offers combinations that actually work, and shows the assembled result in 3D before validation.

  • Leg/tabletop compatibility checked automatically
  • 3D render of the assembled piece, not two separate visuals
  • Order sent with both exact references

Modular structures

Building a pergola module by module

Number of modules, depth, roof height : every parameter recalculates the structure in real time, never offering a configuration that can't be built. This is the example you're testing just above.

  • Real-time structural recalculation with every parameter
  • No dimension incompatible with the parts catalogue
  • Plan and quote ready as soon as the customer validates

Integration

One line of code.
Any catalogue.

You don't need a developer. The modular configurator installs like any 3DVue widget : a snippet to paste into your product page or dedicated page, and it's live.

<!-- Integrate your 3DVue modular configurator --> <script src="https://cdn.3dvue.fr/configurateur.js"   data-product-id="your-id"></script>

Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, WordPress, Magento, Wix : and any CMS with HTML access. Need help with integration? We handle it.

FAQ

Your questions about the modular 3D configurator.

Book a meeting →
How is this different from a classic 3D planner (CAD-style)?+
A CAD planner gives you an open workspace : your customer has to learn how to use it. The 3DVue modular configurator imposes a guided flow, where only compatible combinations are offered at each step. The result: zero training, zero impossible configuration, a decision made in a few minutes.
How does the system avoid incompatible combinations?+
Compatibility rules are set directly in the configurator during integration : dimensions, fixing points, materials. If a part isn't compatible with the current configuration, it simply doesn't appear among the choices offered.
My products aren't standardised, does it still work?+
Yes, as long as the assembly rules can be identified, even if they're complex. We model your catalogue of real parts and configure the constraints with you : number of modules, min/max dimensions, options that are compatible with each other. The more structured your range, the more precise the configurator.
What file do I receive once a configuration is validated?+
An automatic email with the full summary : each part's reference, final dimensions, chosen options, 3D render. Everything needed to launch production or a quote without asking the customer for information again.
Does the configurator work on mobile?+
Yes, fully, including full-screen mode. Your customers configure from their phone or tablet, with no app to download and no loss of smoothness.
How long does it take to launch a modular configurator?+
Longer than a configurator with simple variants (colour, material), since the parts catalogue needs to be modelled and the compatibility rules defined. Generally allow 4 to 8 weeks depending on the complexity of your range. We give you a precise estimate after a first meeting.
