We equipped Jieldé with a 3D configurator for 90 lamp colours, without a single photo shoot
Jieldé makes iconic French industrial lamps in Saint-Étienne. 3DVue modelled the 76 references of the catalogue in 3D: every product page on their Shopify store jielde.com shows packshots and a 3D viewer per colour, across 90 possible colours.
The 3DVue configurator, try it yourself
Rotate, switch colours, test augmented reality. Today, every jielde.com product page shows its packshots and 3D viewer per colour; here's the full configuration experience 3DVue also offers.
One 3D model, several uses
The same 3D model per product covers all 90 colours. It powers the viewer on every Shopify product page, and lets 3DVue offer a full configuration experience.
Viewer per colour
Live on every jielde.com product page: visitors rotate the 3D model in the selected colour, no fixed photo.
Saved configuration
On the full 3DVue configuration experience: the customer switches colours in a single screen and can save their configuration.
Augmented reality
A capability of the 3DVue platform: the lamp is placed in the customer's own room from their phone, no app to install.
A catalogue impossible to photograph
76 references, 90 colours each: shooting one photo per combination would have meant manufacturing every variant, storing it, shipping it to a studio, running an endless shoot, then retouching and renaming every file.
Without complete visuals, the online store only showed a fraction of the real range. The need arose when Jieldé launched their new Shopify store: every product page had to offer a white-background image for each available colour, or part of the catalogue would stay invisible to buyers.
The whole catalogue modelled from photos and samples
We modelled the 76 references of the catalogue from product photos and physical samples supplied by Jieldé, matching the exact proportions and manufacturing details.
Then recreated all 90 colours in 3D: gloss, matte, painted-polish versions on the gloss shades, and special finishes (chrome, hammered copper, hammered black).
These same 3D models power both the viewer on every product page and the automatic generation of packshots: without this shared 3D base, every colour would have needed a new photo shoot.
A complete catalogue, without producing a single lamp for the photo
references modelled, each configurable in 90 colours
photorealistic white-background packshots delivered for their new Shopify store, without a single shoot
high-definition JPG, web-optimised, one image per variant
The 7,000+ packshots were generated by 3DVue from the same 3D models as the product viewer — without this shared 3D base, every colour would have needed a new shoot.
90 colours, each one perfect

We're delighted to have chosen 3DVue, a French company that's human-sized and values real exchange. Their team helped Jieldé's image shine by transforming our image catalogue into something clearer and more attractive.
